•In April, 2004 an injury was reported at a woodworking plant in New Hampshire. The accident involved a machine operator. During the operation of the machine, a part fell from the machine into a rotating belt.

He holds a BS in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, a MS in Technology and a PhD in Safety Engineering. He is available for accident investigation, testimony and industrial consulting. Dr. Rankin has experience in primary woodworking including sawmills, debarkers, conveyors, head saws, bandsaws and round saws. He also has experience in secondary woodworking including ripsaws, moulders, shapers, tenoners, band saws, planers, jointers routers and many other machines.
